Severe thunderstorms developed in eastern Oklahoma during the late afternoon and evening of September 23rd. Strong thunderstorm winds blew a couple sheds down just north of Talala, and signs were blown down in Talala. Trees were blown down in Weleetka, in Roland, and 3 miles west of Panola. Quarter size hail fell 15 miles west northwest of Fairfax, hail up to quarter size fell at Fairfax, and dime size hail fell at Pawnee, at Maramec, and at Ramona.
