Over 70 glass window panes on the north side of schools in Burns Flat were broken by large hail. Hail as large as golf balls was stacked in the corners of some of the rooms.

Over 70 glass window panes on the north side of schools in Burns Flat were broken by large hail. Hail as large as golf balls was stacked in the corners of some of the rooms. Hail also shattered the windows of houses, businesses, and automobiles, including a patrolling police car.
