A strong low pressure system moved slowly across the northern Texas panhandle. There was a slight lull in the winds from shortly after sunset the 13th until 3 am the 14th. Peak winds were during the afternoon hours both days. Sustained winds were generally 35 to 45 mph with gust recorded from 57 to 82 mph.
