Winds gusted to 62 kts in Washoe Valley between Reno and Carson City. several trucks were blown over. Traffic was halted on U.S. 395 for about four hours. Earlier in the day...another truck was blown over on I-80 near Verdi. About 2,500 homes lost power durinig the morning due to the strong gusty winds.
