A thunderstorm produced a brief tornado touchdown 5 miles northeast of Hazard. The small tornado raked across a farmstead damaging a diary barn. The farmhouse sustained broken windows and damaged siding. Some small outbuildings were destroyed and a tractor damaged. Debris was scattered over a half mile away.
