On September 19th during the early morning hours, an isolated thunderstorm dumped up to eight inches of rain over eastern Kimble County east of Junction. The water entered the Llano River and caused the Llano River near Mason to crest at 8.01 feet on the afternoon of the 19th. Bankfull stage is six feet.
