Winter storm began approximately 4 PM CST on the 14th with freezing drizzle causing numerous accidents across the area. Freezing drizzle changed to snow on the 15th with amounts ranging from 3 inches at North Platte to as much as 9 inches around O neill. Fifty power poles were snapped off in the O neill area. Power outages were common across the area.
