A severe thunderstorm ripped across central and eastern Sherman county packing winds of 80 mph. The high winds tore off a portion of a roof from a cabin near Sherman Reservoir. Significant tree damage was reported in and near Loup City. Funnel clouds were sighted near Rockville and the wind teamed with some hail to damage crops in eastern Sherman county.
