A vigorous cold front swept across the area with strong gradient winds of 35 to 45 MPH and gusts to around 60 MPH. A large grain storage building, 8 miles southeast of O'Neill, was half destroyed by the winds. Shingles were torn from homes and trees were blown down in O'Neill. Some power outtages were reported.
