Heavy rain of 4 to 6 inches caused widespread flooding across the county. Numerous roads were flooded with some washed out. Water up to 2 feet deep covered many roads in Union during the peak of the flooding. The Meramec River which runs across the southwest part of the county rose over 10 feet in less than 24 hours.
