A thunderstorm complex containing straight-line winds of 80 mph moved from west to east across the southern part of the county.The damage path was from 2 miles northeast of Monett to Aurora to Marionville. The hardest hit was the city of Aurora where 75 homes and 38 businesses were damaged. Most of the damage was confined to roofs being blown off and to trees and signs being blown down onto cars and homes. No injuries were reported.
