Two rounds of severe thunderstorms occurred ahead of a cold front on the 24th. The first round produced scattered instances of downed trees and powerlines from Livingston county southeast to northern Wayne county early in the afternoon. Late in the afternoon, a second round of storms affected Lenawee and Monroe counties, producing nickle sized hail at Blissfield, and uprooting trees in Petersburg. No property damage was reported.
