A SOUTHWEST FLOW DEVELOPED IN ADVANCE OF AN ARCTIC FRONT. THE LONG OVERWATER TRAJECTORIES ALLOWED A DOMINANT BAND TO DEVELOP ACROSS LAKE MICHIGAN. THIS BAND SHIFTED ACROSS THE COUNTY PRODUCING 8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW.
