Numerous trees and power lines were downed over the northern portion of the Parish causing extensive power outages. Several houses were damaged by fallen trees. A roof of an auto supply store was torn off and thrown about 300 feet striking a restaurant. A school administration building was struck by two fallen trees. A metal roof from a baseball field grandstand was blown off and wrapped around a utility pole.
