Non-thunderstorm sustained winds of 35 to 45 mph with gusts as high as 51 mph collapsed a wall of a home under construction and injured two workers.Non-thunderstorm winds also downed trees onto power lines which caused nearly 6,000 homes and businesses to loose electrical service for up to three hours throughout Lee county. Most of the homes without power were located near the intersection of U.S. Highway 41 and Broadway.
