Waterspout in Florida, April 24, 1996
A short-lived waterspout formed near the Courtney/Campbell Parkway along the Hillsborough/Pinellas county border in Old Tampa Bay. Eyewitnesses estimated the waterspout had a width of 10 yards at the base and traveled approximately two tenths of a mile before it dissipated.
