A strong early winter storm dumped between 4 and 7 inches of snow on some peaks in the southwest in the eastern San Juan and La Garita mountains. The snow spread east and brought 3 to 6 inches of snow from the Pikes Peak Region, including Colorado Springs, and the Wet Mountains. Six inches of snow fell at Rye and Woodland Park, 5 inches in Monument, and about 3 inches in the Colorado Springs area.
