Flood in Alaska, October 31 to November 3, 1996
An ice jam formed Thursday on the Anchor River, 1/4 mile downstream of the old Sterling Highway Bridge, caused the river to flow into the old channel. Affected areas included the Coho campground, the Beach access road and the area near Silver King Bait shop where "minor" flooding was reported.
