A weakening 976 mb low over Kodiak late Friday curved counterclockwise moving into the Kenai Peninsula and splitting into multiple centers Saturday. Peak winds observed along the upper Anchorage hillside reached 49 mph at 5:30 pm Saturday.

Peak winds observed along the upper Anchorage hillside reached 49 mph at 5:30 pm Saturday. Wind gusts reached 47 mph at Middleton Island on Saturday and 52 mph at Whittier on Friday.
