Thunderstorms generated high winds and hail to one inch in size. Winds were estimated at 60 to 70 mph by sheriff's and weather service employees. Damage was in line with these speeds. In Lipscomb county the porch was blown off a mobile home and another mobile home was moved from it's foundation, along with several trees blown down. In Amarillo several large trees were blown down on the west side of town. In Parmer county cars had windows blown out and numerous trees were down.
