A severe thunderstorm crossed from Georgia into Anderson County where quite a few trees were blown down around Iva. These downed trees blocked roads overnigbt. The storm weakened, persisted, and regained strength as it left Anderson County. It again produced some large hail and damaging wind at Moonville where numerous downed trees were reported in the Centerbury Subdivision.
