One to two feet diamaeter trees down/uprooted along path and damage to at least one automobile and residence and outbuildings was reported. A motor home was overturned at a campground near Leslie causing minor injuries to two adults.

A line of severe thunderstorms developed along a warm front and tracked east across southern Michigan during the afternoon on the 4th. Numerous occurrences of downed powerlines and trees were reported. One man was injured when he was struck by lightning in the Brighton State Park Recreation area.
