Numerous trees were blown down in the vicinity of Lawrenceville and Bridgeport Illinois. Several homes sustained minor damage. Record or near record rainfall across southwest Indiana, southeast Illinois, as well as west and south-central Kentucky produced widespread flashlooding during the month of May. Thirteen and fifty-one hundredths inches of rain was recorded in Evansville, with 4.92 inches falling on the 17th. Numerous roads were closed across the tri state area.
