A line of severe thunderstorms packing winds to 60 mph and golf ball-sized hail rumbled through northeast Wisconsin downing many trees and power lines. In Bellevue (Brown County) $100,000 in wind damage took place to a garage and convenience store. Violent winds also damaged a farm one mile south of Waupaca (Waupaca County). An isolated severe thunderstorm knocked down many trees and power lines and caused minor property damage in Shullsburg (Lafayette County).
