Ochiltree County received the largest and greatest amount of hail from these storms. Reports of heavy damage to crops in the county and numerous broken windows on the south side of Perryton. Most of the larger hail was over open country with minimum damage. Lightning started a house fire in Shamrock with estimated damages to the house exceeding $25K. Windows were broken in several farm homes in northwestern Roberts County.

Baseball-size hail east of Vega on Interstate 40 damaged several vehicles traveling on the interstate. A brief tornado west of Vega was filmed by a KFDA TV crew. Minor hail damage occurred in both Vega and Hereford.
