Thunderstorms, a few of severe intensity, moved across north Louisiana during the afternoon producing strong wind gusts and large hail. All of the wind damage reported was confined to downed tree limbs and trees. The thunderstorms also produced heavy rain and street flooding in the Shreveport area, and two to three inches of rain was recorded in about one hour in the community of Stonewall.
