Narrow, short path tornado blew down the west wall and blew off the roof of a large barn. Roof debris was carried over 50 foot tall trees and deposited 200 yards northeast. The flying debris crashed through a nearby house roof and also totalled a pickup truck in the driveway at that house. Trees adjacent to the barn were blown down or partially sheared off above ground level. Outbuilding near the barn was lifted off its anchored foundation, turned 90 degrees and deposited intact 10 feet from its foundation.

Downburst winds 3 miles southeast of the Johnson County tornado blew down half of a 50 yard long hog barn that was under construction. One hog was killed.
