1957, September 26, 12:00. There was an earthquake, about which there are nine reports from Bogor, Priangan and Banjuzas districts. The intensity was 2-4 degrees. Homes trembled, and there was a roar. The earthquake was accompanied by todal flooding. The epicenter, according to the station at Djakarta, was located at 8.2 S., 107.3 E. [There are no other instrumental data on the earthquake.] (reference #414)
