Reference #1072 lists earthquake on May 14, 1895, 06:42 (local time, May 13, 14:42 UTC) in Northern Mindoro, intensity VII. Very violent earthquake which considerably damaged the church and convent at Calapan, these being the only masonry buildings in the town. It mas repeated with great intensity at 23h 52m of the same day and at Oh 3m on the 17th. On the 14th more than 40 aftershocks of variable intensity were counted.
