1859, September 25, evening. There was such a strong shock on the islands of Lonthor and Neira that "it made the impression of an irresistible force, preparing to destroy the archipelago." The sea "rushed" onto the southern shore of the island with enormous force, then retreated and gradually calmed. (reference #414)
