* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren. * WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.

* WHAT...High risk of rip currents expected. * WHERE...Lucas, Ottawa, Erie, Lorain and Cuyahoga Counties. * WHEN...From 8 PM EDT this evening through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.

At 659 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Madison, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Dayton, Troy, Trotwood, Vandalia, Englewood, Tipp City, Eaton, West Milton, Arcanum, Lewisburg, New Paris, West Alexandria, Pleasant Hill, Clayton, Union, Brookville, New Lebanon, Farmersville, Phillipsburg, and Eldorado.
