Large hail up to two inches in diameter and damaging winds of 60 to 80 mph are the primary risks. There is a low chance of a few tornadoes before the storms congeal into a line bringing increasing threats for damaging winds and heavy rain. Locally heavy rain may result in flash flooding, especially across parts of southeast Kansas where a flood watch remains in effect. Heat indices around 105 are possible across south-central Kansas this afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect for this afternoon and evening. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday A few strong or severe storms may be possible on Tuesday with thunderstorm chances lingering into Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
