This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Thunderstorms across northeast and central Kansas will continue to
spread southeast across the region through the evening hours. Large
hail up to two inches in diameter and damaging winds of 60 to 80 mph
are the primary risks. There is a low chance of a few tornadoes
before the storms congeal into a line bringing increasing threats
for damaging winds and heavy rain. Locally heavy rain may result in
flash flooding, especially across parts of southeast Kansas where a
flood watch remains in effect.

Heat indices around 105 are possible across south-central Kansas
this afternoon. A Heat Advisory is in effect for this afternoon and
evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A few strong or severe storms may be possible on Tuesday with
thunderstorm chances lingering into Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected tonight, but we would appreciate
any reports of severe weather.
