...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN CATTARAUGUS AND
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTIES THROUGH 145 PM EDT...

At 118 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Lottsville, or 13 miles southwest of Jamestown, moving northeast at
80 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Silver Creek Reservoir, East Randolph, South Dayton, Onoville,
Perrysburg, Ellington, Mayville, Busti, Stow, Long Point State Park,
New Albion, Ellery Center, Jamestown West, Panama, Leon, Randolph,
French Creek, Falconer, Brocton, and Ripley Beach.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 90 between exits 58 and 61.
 Interstate 86 between exits 4 and 17.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
