The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Jefferson County in central New York...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 524 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles northwest of Fort Drum, moving northeast at 60
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Oxbow, Theresa, Philadelphia, Muskellunge Lake, Antwerp, and
  Rossie.

This includes Interstate 81 near exit 49.
