This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma
Panhandles.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening across
the Panhandles. A few thunderstorms could become severe with
large hail and damaging winds being the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Thunderstorm chances may return this weekend for portions of the
Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles.

At 507 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles northwest of Dalhart, moving southeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.
