Western Stearns County in central Minnesota...
* Until 845 PM CDT.
* At 816 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Melrose, or 31 miles southeast of Alexandria,
moving south at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Stearns County, including the following locations...
Greenwald, New Munich, Spring Hill, Lake Henry, Roscoe, Meire
Grove, and St. Martin.
