...Strong Winds With Blowing Snow Expected This Weekend...

East winds will increase along the Arctic Coast from Utqiagvik
east late tonight through Saturday and remain strong into Sunday.
Expect the strongest winds from Deadhorse east Friday night
through Saturday night when gusts of 50 to 60 mph are possible
along with low visibility in blowing snow. Utqiagvik can expect
winds gusting 40 to 50 mph Friday night through Sunday.

It is still uncertain how low visibility will be due to the
strong winds of the past week leaving little loose snow left to
blow.
