The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Western and central Kansas
* Effective this Wednesday night and Thursday morning from 900 PM
until 300 AM CDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 2
inches in diameter possible
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
SUMMARY...One or more thunderstorm clusters should move into the
watch from western KS, and perhaps develop within it, over the next
several hours, offering occasional severe gusts and hail. See SPC

The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 75
statute miles either side of a line from 30 miles southeast of Dodge
City KS to 40 miles north of Russell KS. For a complete depiction of
