* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
  Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...
  East Central Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until midnight EDT.

* At 930 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate 
  is 0.25 to 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
  ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
           highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
           drainage and low lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Blairstown, Bangor, Pen Argyl, Belvidere, Hope, East Bangor, 
  Delaware Water Gap, Columbia, Echo Lake, Werry Lake, and Roxburg.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 15.
	Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania near mile marker 314.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most 
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the

NORTHAMPTON, AND EAST CENTRAL MONROE COUNTIES...

The Flash FLood Warning has been replaced by an Areal Flood Warning, 
which is in effect until 700 AM EDT. Additional rainfall amounts of 
0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. Areas of flooding of low lying and 
urban areas is possible overnight.

A Flood Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for portions of New 
Jersey...and Pennsylvania.
