So a Wind Advisory remains in effect for the entire area until 1 am. The gusty winds will also keep the fire danger in the very high category until about midnight. A few severe thunderstorms will be possible across the Flint Hills and southeast Kansas until about 3 am. The main threats will be large hail up to ping-pong ball size, damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph. A hard freeze is anticipated over portions of north central Kansas late tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday A hard freeze is anticipated across north central Kansas early Wednesday morning and across much of the area late Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Very high grassland fire danger is possible in north central Kansas and portions of south central Kansas Friday and Saturday. A low chance for thunderstorms exists Saturday evening in north central Kansas and Sunday afternoon into the evening for parts of south central and southeast Kansas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
