Severe thunderstorms are possible across Central Alabama today, mainly this afternoon and evening. Storms will pose a threat of damaging wind gusts and hail up to quarter size. Heat indices are expected to range from 105 to 115 degrees across Central Alabama today. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Additional severe thunderstorms are possible across Central Alabama on Tuesday and Wednesday. Storms will pose a threat of damaging wind gusts. Heat indices could approach 105 degrees across southern portions of Central Alabama each afternoon Tuesday through Sunday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Activation of storm spotters and emergency management may be needed through Wednesday.

Snead, or 12 miles northeast of Oneonta, moving east at 25 mph.
