and northwestern Upshur Counties through 815 PM EDT...
At 737 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of Stonewall Jackson, or 9 miles south of Weston, moving
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Walkersville, Horner, Lorentz and French Creek.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 79 near mile marker 87.
Route 33 between mile markers 1 and 7.
