The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Mainland Monroe County in southwestern Florida...

* Until 530 PM EDT.
    
* At 503 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Loop Road Ee Center, or 24 miles east of
  Chokoloskee, moving north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHERN MAINLAND MONROE COUNTY WILL
EXPIRE AT 530 PM EDT...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Tornado Warning 
will remain in effect for Southeast Collier County and North Central 
Mainland Monroe County near Monroe Station along US Hwy 41.
