The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Collier County in southwestern Florida...
  Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida...
  Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida...

* Until 200 PM EDT.
    
* At 131 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles northeast of Fortymile Bend, or 25 miles west
  of Miramar, moving northwest at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southeastern Collier, northern Miami-Dade and southern Broward
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN COLLIER...NORTHERN MIAMI-DADE
AND SOUTHERN BROWARD COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 200 PM EDT...
        
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and has exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will
be allowed to expire.  However gusty winds are still possible with
this thunderstorm.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for southeastern
and southwestern Florida.
