duration until late tomorrow morning...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Marais Des Cygnes River above Reading.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 7:01 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 20.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Forecast...The river is cresting near 21 feet currently. It is 
  expected to fall below flood stage late this evening and continue 
  falling to 3.1 feet Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river flood.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, County Road Y 5 near the gage floods, 3 
  miles north of Reading.

* At 2:15 AM CDT Friday the stage was estimated at 20.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  this morning to a crest of 26.8 feet this evening. It will then 
  fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
* Impact...At 26.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs from along 
  the river from Americus to Emporia.
* Impact...At 27.0 feet, Theater Road, also known as the Americus 
  Road...2 miles south of Americus floods.

  this morning to a crest of 19.3 feet this afternoon. It will then 
  fall below flood stage this evening.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs along the river 
  upstream to Dunlap and downstream to Neosho Rapids.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet, Prairie Street, north of the bridge, floods.
