.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

...THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
Thunderstorms are expected. Thunderstorms that develop will be
capable of producing strong gusty winds...locally heavy rains...
and frequent deadly lightning strikes.

...FLOOD IMPACT...
Locally heavy rainfall is expected as Tropical Storm Elsa
approaches the region. The heavy rain will produce flooding of
low lying and poor drainage areas as well as the ponding of water
on roadways. Motorists should exercise caution.

...HIGH WIND IMPACT...
Tropical Storm force winds will be possible. These strong winds
may break small twigs from trees and blow around any unsecured
outdoor objects. High profile vehicles should use extra caution
especially if traveling over bridges or high overpasses.

...COASTAL FLOOD IMPACT...
Conditions favorable for coastal flooding are expected to develop.
Coastal residents should be alert for later statements or
warnings...and take action to protect property.

...RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
High surf may produce rip currents along area beaches.

...MARINE IMPACTS...
Tropical Storm force winds will create hazardous boating conditions
for small craft operators. A Hurricane Watch is in effect from
Egmont Key northward.

Atmospheric conditions will be favorable for waterspout development.

...RIVER FLOOD IMPACT...
River flooding is expected along the area river. Residents living
