FOR SAN JUAN, SOUTH CENTRAL GARFIELD AND NORTHEASTERN KANE
COUNTIES...
At 325 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain
have fallen. In addition, the river gage on the Escalante River near
Escalante showed a significant rise. Flash flooding is already
occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
