Flood Warning for the following rivers in Utah...

  Yellowstone River Near Altona affecting Duchesne County.

For the Duchesne River...including Myton, Altona, Tabiona, Mountain 
Home...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Until this afternoon.
* At 10:00 AM MDT Thursday the stage was 3.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 4.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late 
  this morning to a crest of 4.9 feet this afternoon. It will then 
  fall below flood stage this afternoon.
* Impact...At 4.9 feet, Moderate flooding will occur at 4.90 ft on 
  Yellowstone River. Structures adjacent to the river will receive 
  damage.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 4.9 
  feet on 06/11/1990.
