The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Cabell County in central West Virginia...
  Northwestern Lincoln County in central West Virginia...

* Until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 811 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  West Hamlin and Salt Rock.

NORTHWESTERN LINCOLN COUNTIES...

Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no 
longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining 
road closures.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT Friday for 
portions of northeast Kentucky, southeast Ohio and West Virginia.
